Jack the Ripper’s Run Report 22nd July 2019 Run 2719
Gentlemen,
The Run :
Your Hares : Commanders Kneel Armstoc and Buzz Bligh embarked on a lunar mission that eclipsed the actual moon landing… bigger than Ben Hur is an understatement. The moon run and moon walks commenced at Mosman Bay Ferry Wharf where 37 hashtronauts were welcomed aboard by the ferry captain over the p.a. system to the bemusement of the regular passengers. Our hare commanders were in their original space suits, adjusted for shape changes over time.
We left the marine capsule at Cremorne wharf to moon walk over an enchanting area previously occupied by a hashtronaut in another life. Anyone guess the melody ? The run was well set and well marked particularly with the re-appearance of Bigfoot after a long rest. Some have noticed that Bigfoot has two right feet, very observant they are. The hare told me that Bigfoot was very well behaved, he only ate one cat, and he would like to come out on Mondays more often. Bigfoot is a huge labour saver as you don’t have to bend down for him !!
Excellent map provided by Your Choice of where he went, which may or may not have some resemblance to the trail…There was a Moonshine stop on the trail where rocket fuel or curaçao or ? was served by Cdr Kneel Toc More streets, lanes and past Poly’s place.

The Barn was built in 1831, it was the first building in Mosman, (I took this foto in 1833) and it was the the storehouse for the whaling station in the bay ! Did you notice whale jaws over the fireplace ? The Scouts use the barn today and kindly rent it to anyone.
The ON ON was another production, on entry the moon music was evocative and penetrative.

The catering by Commander Captain Bligh and Cdr Toc Tic was Spacefood a la Americaine Extraordinaire. On Sunday they pre-cooked space burgers and on the day we also enjoyed Space clam chowder (very well cooked), and space burgers with all the trimmings. There were seconds, however it was so good and filling that only a few could go back moishe xxxx etc. 777 and Scupper worked like martians in the kitchen to get it all ready for the boyz, Thank You men. There were 45 for the onon.
What would we get for desserts ? Can you guess ? ….
Apple Pie and motherhood, cream, ice cream and chocolate sauce .. How good is that ?.. The astronauts had exactly the same in the lunar capsule….it made a terrible mess the next day !
and motherhood we were serenaded by a very large, even fat-suited, Captain America, Commander Chuck Smiley with his clarinet. We were blessed with moon songs; Moon River, Moon Shine, Moon me. It was as smooth as silk, as smooth as your tongue on her nipple. See Molly, totally rapt, …spell-bound he was… You are fortunate to have such a talented Committee, recently we had 777 singing with his guitar, and now Smiley; wait for it, see who’s next to surprise you with hidden talent. ? Note to committee; see me for auditions.

On On will be a sensational Texas style bbq. Our host is Petko Petkov (seriously) he is a two hatted chef and Castro’s mate. And he was the chef to President Bush….(really ! with a name that shouts KGB)
The site for the On On is a pent house display unit. We plan to be sitting on the balcony so be rugged up.
