JJ boosted M&M’s
The in-between (Xmas and New Year) run was a very mixed affair. I’m sure that it wasn’t a designated Joint Run but Larrikins and Harriettes turned up anyway. My drone crashed on its way down from Coffs Harbour so this report doesn’t have its usual in depth “Eye-in the Sky” coverage. I had to rely on spies on the ground for a brief report.
The hares tonite being our own Moishe and Larrikins GM Mongrel, with a boost from newly discharged from hospital and well on the road to recovery Jungle Jim, who set the short walk. Trails in this area generally end up in Swaines Ck, Stringybark Ck and the Chatswood Golf Course. No change tonite but it’s a good area for this type of pack and the final run for 2016.
Crazy as it may seem Boxkite and Smiley caught up with the runners. That would have had the gun runners like Music Man off like scalded cats – but Music was m.i.a. tonite.
Also, old fart and relentless pusher of the envelope Hanoi Bill had the audacity to swan passed a slightly nobbled Jungle Jim on the walk.
The On On at the Great Northern Hotel was attended by 40+. Centrepoint, of dodgey knee fame, had spent the whole of the run time peg-legging it around the dining room fending off interloper’s intent on using our reserved tables. The “buy 1 get 1 free” deal for the steaks created real issues for Pee Dub and Scud who were heard discussing loudly who was to pay and who was to get the free steak.
