Run #2352. Centrepoint and Jungle set a well crafted run that somehow made what should have been the familiar streets of Longuville seem less familiar. Those of us hungering for the summer bush runs were teased by frequent diversions into the bush, only to be brusquely flung back to tarmac by a check-back. Well marked, and close to the hour – perhaps five minutes over for the runners. Google Earth : Run 2352
We also had as visitors Zander (derived from Alexander) and Sandra, son and neice of PD. Pee Dub in his inimitable way offered to “escort” the lady on the run. Though setting offf bravely in pursuit, sadly he was not able to keep it up. That offer must have added wings to her heels. Certainly having a couple of young ones on the run gave rise to mixed feelings. A wistfulness for the days of yore, but pleasure at seeing how smoothly they kept with the front runners.
They had a drink with us at the Bolo, but regrettably did not stay for the down-downs. Had they done so, they would have seen the miscreants responsible for PD’s demise (as LCL unfairly described them) given a down-down. See below. Bigamist, the sixth, was absent.
City to Surf Update
The Larrikins will again be hosting a post City to Surf bucket and barbecue – the location for this event is the
rear of 27 Sir Thomas Mitchell Road Bondi Beach.
This location is only 750 meters from the Bondi Beach Pavilion finish line.

Waist sizing – Are you waisting away? Your generous committee is planning on rugby shorts for you. Excellent for summer runs, winter runs, or for just sauntering through Mosman looking spiffy. They come with side pockets deep enough for a mobile phone holding Carefree’s and Swampy’s numbers (0411852684 and 0411701260 ) – We need your waist size and preferred colour (choice of Black, Inky Navy Blue, Royal Blue, Bottle Green, White). The Royal Blue and Bottle Green are fairly dark and look good. Quote waist sizes in inches (32, 34, 36, 38, ….etc.) Email your size and colour to LCL – 23 replies (out of 111 Hashmen) so far – Non-repliers will miss out or get a default if lucky.
