Gentlemen
Alex Stuart’s funeral will be next Monday at 11:15am at the North Chapel of the Northern Suburbs Crematorium . All are welcome.

My record of events was somewhat amiss. For the record, Alan Jackman was there and writes:-
PD was walking up Flat Rock Drive on the footpath with Bigamist and others while Tooth Fairy and I were walking up the out trail in parallel with them and, although we could not see them, we could hear their voices. When we walked out onto Flat Rock Drive PD was on the ground and Bigamist was trying to phone the ambulance. Manfred started clearing PD’s airway and when we realised he was not breathing, I started CPR on him. A few minutes later, Payling arrived and, with his greater knowledge of first aid, took over the CPR. Payling holds a senior first aid certificate. In the meantime, a young woman walking home from work was approached and it was she who made contact with the ambulance service and stayed with us right up until the ambo’s arrived relaying instructions from the ambulance service to Payling as he worked on PD. When the ambo’s arrived the young woman left without fanfare and is deserving of a vote of thanks for her efforts. If only we knew who she was. Payling continued on with CPR in cooperation with the ambo’s as they set about organising their defibrilator and injections.
This continued right up to the time the Ambo’s took PD away. Payling deserves recognition for his efforts.

Did you know that last Monday’s run was a joint run? Not only did we share trail with that of the North Shore Wanderers (those little feet), but “our” trail was actually set by the Grand Master of the North Shore Hash. Never heard of them?
