RUN REPORT – MILSONS POINT to CIRCULAR QUAY                                     KITTY LITTER & MUSIC & MOISHE

Distance: 5.19km / Elevation Gain: 2m / Calories burnt: 536c

Breathtaking vistas treat Posh luminaries with Vivid imagination

Expectant faces, even that of Luna Park (the cousin that Dear Leader Kim Jong-un Park doesn’t talk about) lit up the Milsons Point foreshore as 45 Poshmen and a handful of welcome guests got ready to be enthralled by Vivid Sydney.

We all caught the good boat Borrodale from Luna Park Wharf all right, bound for Circular Quay, with E-Shit already aboard, entertaining the eager travellers.  A night to remember (well not so for God Knows, but more of that later).  Together with landlubber mates,Captain Bligh leapt across the gang plank and immediately commanded respect and halved the rations.  Duck wove his way through the excited crowd, and continued Quay side, waddling right up to the gigantic white bilbys that proved to be a major attraction to Bunny Trapper.

And talking about bilbys, the Hares, Kitty Litter and Presidential Music put together a masterful itinerary, causing the Posh runners, walkers, dawdlers and God Knows (more of that later), to biff and elbow their way past the staggeringly lit Museum of Contemporary Art the splendiferous Opera House, Custom House, and many craft on the harbour. Tweety was chirpy and tweeted his a number of birds he knows.  Lightning was in his element, particularly struck by all the hidden gems of the Quay.  WC and Bumcrack stopped to admire the portable loos all beautifully lit with methane flame throwers.  Tartan criss-crossed the foreshore in a fetching pattern looking for checks..of which there were few, er, none.

Then it was time to leap up on to the Cahill Expressway, and enjoy the moving vista of brilliance as we ran back to the bucket at Broughton Street, Kirribilli..or catch the Milsons Point ferry.  Well all except God Knows..whose car pool carer, Saltpetre waited, and waited, and waited at the ferry wharf for God Knows’ ship to come in. Of course it never did.  But it was a relief after Grape who’d helped with enquiries to learn well into the dessert and petit fours that our old mate God Knows was already home and tucked up in his cot, a tired little teddy bear.  Still the two worriers found that a few glasses of acceptable red helped them consider their next move when next chatting with GK.

The Lounge Bar is truly a gourmet’s paradise, with splendid chicken schnitzel and lasagne on offer in a rustic atmosphere.  The humour dispensed by PeeDub and TToc was of the same high standard..and a down down was imposed upon host John.
