Harriettes Host The Hash in the Hollows and Hills of Northbridge

A lovely bunch of Harriettes emerged from Woolies in Northbridge recently. They had been buying groceries and treats for their men-folk waiting patiently at home or at their local ‘otel. Always mindful of their men’s desires, one exclaimed let’s set a Joint Run from here, and give the men (and women) just what they want: to explore nooks, crannies, by-ways, alleys, places to climb up into, passageways, soft moist spots, holes, hollows, recesses, refuges, fissures, gaps, cracks, crevices, clefts, openings, orifices, risers, bush…and goodness knows what else.
And it came to pass. After gently dispersing wispy trail markings like the lace off gossamer panties, throughout the precinct, Hashmen (and women) of Northern Bitches, Thirst Slakers, Larrikintyre and Poshdom, including Scud, Poly, Molly (about to embark on his umpteenth Oxfam Trailwalk), Simmo (about to embark on his umpteenth visit to Russia this time to enquire about salt mines for Changi), Flying Virgin, Music, Jungle, Calici, JTR (with creative Kate the plate decorator, who plays with her food–naughty corner Kate), Goanna, Baron VD, Mash (the game changer), God Knows, Lightning, Choice, Kitty, TToc, and others too many to count, felt their way through a cleverly-crafted route over the hills and knolls, cliffs and buttes of Northbridge to a welcome bucket of reward.
Further appreciation of their men-folk (and women) awaited within the warm bosom of the Northbridge pub. Red meat or white meat was on offer to the 50 or so men (and women), and the food was tasty and plentiful as well……for $16 a head. Many enjoyed the Socceroos’ big win over, errr, Jordan. The evening climaxed with a touch of sweetness from Grand Mistress Ace’s themed Harriettes, with Hashers presented with A-Cup cakes for the ladies and D-Cup cakes for the chaps, ummm, more than a mouthful…the evening being much-appreciated by all, especially the men-folk.
